Dota like the pros

You okes should be able to play all heroes and roles - but everyone has a natural tendency towards different role and you need to start focusing on a role and playing those types of heroes. You get the supporter/bitch, ganker, carry, initiator (sometimes your ganker is your initiartor aswell) and then you get the bleh semi-carry semi what what heros like kitty.

Now what you do.....
You download this replay: MYM vs KS.int KOKC tourney

And you all go on ts together and watch it...pick a hero which is the role you will be assuming and focus more on that hero. See shit happening tell ppl on ts to watch - then talk about what they did and why. How they ganged and when, where they warded, all that shit. (and if you dont know who either ks.int or mym is then quit dota...seriously u fail life.)

This game Sand King plays amazingly so you may wanna focus him:
Look at MYM's picks and why...
SK = ganker (RAPE)
Morph = carry (nice nuke vs there paper heros)
Chen = support (gang orientated - heal helps a failed gang)
Axe = semi-carry (initiator with dagger) - many dead spiderlings - anti-push
Es = initiator (lololol - they have a brood - ulti <3)

Dont try copy MYM cuz they rape and you fail to put it basically in the greater scheme of things but try to understand the strats, the picks and how they play them.

what do you rate is the ideal build for sk(sank king) in a clannie? as all replays from previous version of dota willl no longer work if you have the new version
meaning i didnt get a chance to watch your replay with him and what u got and how you played etc etc...
im really keen to learn him as one of my main clan heroes
want to check this pro link but not sure if it will work either.

Dude is not hard to change version - just switch to 1.22 and watch replay, switch back to 1.23 and play. Ive got a zip of 1.22 and of 1.23 - the latest extractor (w3l thingy) doesn't need changing...so just extract 1.22 and watch....extract 1.23 when done

On a side i normally start with: 2 sets of trees, 2 guantlets, 2 branches
-> early bottle and boots
-> boots -> phase boots (this is farm situational if farm going well blink b4 phase)
-> dagger (see above)
-> 2 guantlets -> 2 bracers
-> Perma buying tp's
-> Shiva's

(its not a formula and a change little things from game to game...i.e. sometimes get vlads so i can neut if farming been bad. Ring of Basillus sometimes for mana regen and the bit of armour (SK has shite armour - hence shiva)
